  I could not fault anything with this hotel. The staff were excellent and the hotel and grounds were stunning. I will definitely stay here again on a return to the uk. - very friendly and attentive staff, gorgeous setting, nice and quiet rooms, very clean, beautiful breakfast room

  What a delightfully quaint hotel. I love these kind of places much more than your usual chain hotel. The place was bursting with character and provided us with a delightful stay.We stayed in the Windsor room which was extremely spacious, cosy and had a lovely view of the gardens. There was no need for checking in, as the room key was in a locked b... ce que les gens disent » ox outside the door (which we was given the combination) so only briefly met the owner before leaving, whom was very friendly and polite. The hotel is - The Landlady was very friendly and helpful as we had a large group of three adults and three children for which we had two rooms and she was very helpful before we arrived e-mailing me to ask how best to accommodate this group. The breakfast was really very substantial and did us both breakfast and lunch for the day. Lovely large garden which had a slide, trampoline and swing which the children played on for ages and really enjoyed. The house is located next to a pub but we did not hear any noi
