Arrived into hotel after a long flight late at night with 2 young children. Nicole was so genuinely helpful and caring and got all our check-in smoothly done. All our tiredness & tension was alleviated and had a great nights sleep.
Next morning at breakfast Karen took care of us brilliantly - nothing was too much bother. Claire at check-out

A bit pricy for a generic hotel without any character, but clear and
comfortable. Convenient for airlines connection..about a 8 pound cabride
(10 minutes) from airport. Restaurant generic, American style, very
busy. Nothing else around (in an industrial park) so no other eating
options. Check with attendant to make sure no groups are booked for
dinner, otherwise no dinner for you!

I liked everything from the beginning as I was met at the door with a handshake and a nice hello. Mr. Lapping is a fine cook so there's no need to go anywhere for breakfast. First of all, the location at Inverkeithing (20-30 mins) from Edinburgh waverly station by train maybe not very attractive for some, but for me I love it. This village is so quite and pretty, every body so friendly even at strangers like me. I got there by chance, but I'm grateful for it.

It's a great family run hotel in a very convenient location for a lot of places. The town center is only a 5 minute walk away as well. Word of warning though. People with disabilities may find the walk daunting as it's down a steep road, and up again the other side. It's easy to find as well and space to leave your car secure.
