  All I can say is wow what an amazing hotel. It was absolutely spotless in every area . The bedroom was not only huge but also very plush indeed and the en-suite was outstanding - you could literally see your reflection in the floor. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. It really is amazing. The price was excellent too especially for a 5 star in - The gym, pool, sauna & steam room are all good & included in rate we got. The staff were helpful & took time to help explain there was engineering works on the district line & to use the Metropolitan line from Aldgate to get to my destination Sunday morning. Location is good for the east end of London as is only 5 mins walk from Tower Bridge.

  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch. It was well maintained and very clean.The beds were wonderfully comfortable with big feather pillows.The room had plenty of plugs,fluffy white towel dressing gowns,ironing board etc. everything we needed without having to ask. The full English breakfast was big enough to share between two. A lovely place to relax in great comfort.
