  The welcome was excellent. we explained we were not able to stay for breakfast so we were offered an evening meal instead - which was very generous and extremely tasty. The bar was warm and friendly and food first class. we would not hesitate to stay again. - Friendly and very comfortable

If you are looking for a traditional country inn with good food … I can recommend the Black horse - The bedroom was Beautiful and the manager who showed us in was very accomodating.

  Le calme - The staff were incredibly helpful, totally professional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was great. We are recommending the hotel to all our colleagues - The Breakfast waiter was extremely polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Also, both receptionists were very professional in their approach.

  manager very helpfull.Asked if he could improve in any way,advised mirror on wall need socket so us girls can do our hair otherwise great. Food excellent breakfast best had in long time.Dined in restaurant at night also very nice food hot and plenty of it.
