  Balgowan House is a gorgeous Edwardian home in the gentrified area of Dundee, where the Jute barons built their houses. It overlooks the Botanic Gardens and Tay estuary and has been beautifully restored by the owners. The stained glass panels and period details are lovely. The young owners ar - I stayed in the 'Garden Room', which was more like a huge suite a sofa, small 'walk-in closet' and big double bed. It also had a lovely view. My stay was perfect, the owners were lovely and the breakfast was great. The whole house is lovely decorated with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed the unexpected luxury during my business trip. - Fantastic stay, Richie is by far one of the Nicest and relaxed owners I have came across My fiancée was in Dundee for knee operation and Richie assured me that I could come and go as I pleased and understood completely Breakfast was brilliant, a very relaxed and calming atmosphere at the Balgowan, so much so that you feel like your at home
