Besides the fact that the hotel is an interior design gem in the middle of Colombo and the staff were fantastic from start to finish - at the end of our trip my wife fell very ill. The hotel staff rushed us to the hospital, where they didn't speak English, they stayed with me and dealt with everything until around 3am. They were patient, caring, and generally fantastic. If you are staying in Colombo this is the place to be if you don't
want the generic hotel that's in every city. It is still the best
location even though there is a refurbished hotel at the other end of
Galle face Green with nice rooms but not not the same quality or class
by a million miles. Make sure you are in the new wing as the old wing
is now very tired although it was the best a few years back. I think
it is being refurbished and then it will be the better wing as the
rooms are huge.

Colombo has some of the best sight seeing's to offer, from the lovely beaches, the sun sets and the modern city with the lovely restuarants. This place has access to almost every facility that a traveller could ask for. Supun is close to the beach and facing the main galle road. it has good restaurants close by . The supermarkets and shopping malls are just a hop away...............one of the best places if you're looking to hang around in colombo......

I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of my trip to Sri Lanka. Check in was efficient and my room was large, clean and bright. There were two twin beds pushed together which I don't like but they were large beds so no problem. There's a/c and a good fan. The bathroom is large and clean and everything works.
There's a good range of sports channels on the TV and a large movie collection available to borrow.
