flight to have shopping in a capital and to move then to other places of
SriLanka. Great gym, good staff, good food especially if you dont like

The whole experience was so relaxing, the facilities amazing and the people were very attentive and helpful. Incredibly good value for money and well located to do lots of interesting day trips. We went on safari, climbed Sigiriya (get a guide it's definitely worth it) and went to Buddhist temples. Beautiful grounds that ooze tranquility and relax

I loved the fact that the staff were incredibly friendly. We arrived early and our room was not ready. They made every effort to ensure it was ready 2 hours prior to usual check in and they even phoned us on our cell phone to let us know it was ready.

Good Hotels in Sri Lanka are not cheap and it is worth what you pay when
compared to cheaper Hotels. Mount Lavinia was superb in all aspects. It
takes about 80 minutes from the airport and I would advise anyone
against driving themselves. Always hire a car with a driver, otherwise

Mt Lavinia is an experience. The hotel rooms in the old section are a
little tied, and wow what could they do if they spent a bit money! (I
stayed in a delux room). That aside. The rooms were clean and
comfortable and had everything you needed, and the view was wow! The
service at the hotel is excellent the areas around the pool and at the
beach are fabulous, especially at dusk with the sun setting and the
candles being lit. Totally worth a visit. This history the views the
service, just lovely

If you are staying in Colombo this is the place to be if you don't
want the generic hotel that's in every city. It is still the best
location even though there is a refurbished hotel at the other end of
Galle face Green with nice rooms but not not the same quality or class
by a million miles. Make sure you are in the new wing as the old wing
is now very tired although it was the best a few years back. I think
it is being refurbished and then it will be the better wing as the
rooms are huge.

We loved this hotel and people who worked there.
First let me tell about people who worked there. Starting from the owner of the hotel to a guard all were very friendly and very helpfull. You feel very relaxed there and wellcomed!
Second - its a swimming pool! Its clean, they are checking water every day, taking analysis, so you feel safe for you

where they knew my tastes and were helpful in having tea or omelet etc
ready for me. Provided laundry service, called a 3 wheeler when needed,
had WiFi available in most areas.
