Lorsque l'on vient pour une premier fois, la chambre 342 n'est pas le meilleure pour gdecouvtir cet Hotel. Heureusement grâce à la gentillesse de la réception j'ai pu être changé de chambre. Mon séjour a été parfait! -

The hotel was beautiful, but some small things i.e. no face cloths in the bathrooms and not enough toiletries, small details. Inadequate light as you entered the room, hard to see into the safe deposit b0x. All small practical details, but would recommend they be put right. Everything is lovely at this hotel as long as you have good weather.
The food was better than ever and our room was quite large as a side sea view room, certainly enough for two people.
We have stayed at this hotel at least 12 times over the last 10 years and we are returning to the hotel again in July. -

We thought the facilities were excellent, especially for children of varied ages. Also, the apartments were very large and all the American amenities were provided which is so rare in Europe. The classes on offer were great and we really enjoyed the gym. This was one of the best and most comfortable European holidays we have taken. -

The rooms were wonderful, the beach was beautiful, and we found a zipline park just a few miles away. It was a fantastic few days away for our family.

The apartment was stunning! It was located right on the front next to the beach/harbour and slept 4 (2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms). The lady previously emailed with an address of the property before we arrived and met us there for a briefing before we were left to enjoy! Apartment is in a residential block and boasts 24hr security at the front desk. Could just hop over wall to roof top pool. I understand other apartments are located elsewhere but this 1 was perfect!

This hotel is perfect! A place to get spoiled in every way every day.
The rooms are decored beautifully and the material used is luxury
quality. The staff is so polite and serviceminded. The hotel placed by
the sea with fantastic seaview. An elevatorride away from the beach and
seashore where you can walk for miles. And a long this walk you pass
many restaurants and bars. I really recommend Mamma Gina. They have
fantastic italian food. And the habor in Benalmadena is definitely worth
a visit. T

Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had.
We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts.
We'll go back again at this time of year.
The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.

I don't usually bother writing reviews but I feel compelled to say a
few lines about El Ocean. What a great place. You can't fault it for
anything, great service, amazing pool, killer views and excellent food
in the restaurant. It was the perfect finish to our holiday in Europe
prior to our return to New Zealand. Thumbs up to John and the team.
