Staff was very friendly. By request, they gave us a kettle to boil water for tea in the room. The room was clean and well-equipped, with balcony. generally staff are friendly and openness. Rooms small but clean, there
is balcony. Very good location - in the city center, not far from metro
station and there is a big foodmarket in 5 minutes of walk.

The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget.
Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the
surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the
additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in
Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt
comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

Very friendly staff with good local knowledge. Rooms were clean and tidy. Location was perfect - central to the cathedral and only 10 - 15 minutues from the train station. Excellent for the price -

I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning.
All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). And if you need so

Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was good to have access to a kitchen facility.

We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed staying at this hostal, at first view on arrival it looks a bit edgy, but once inside and settled we realized why so many of the reviews were so positive! The rooms are small but clean and kept very tidy, lots of hot water, and comfortable beds. It's good value for the cost, simple accommodations, but suited our needs (and budget) well. El Rincon was well-located near to centre city, restaurants and coffee shops, touristy stalls and a really good local fresh food market and city tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to happen across a small religious parade of an icon through the streets. We were able to walk from the train to the hostal which is located in the old town.

Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel.
