Ce que les gens disent
The hotel is only a few steps away from the Central market and the Lonja
de Seda and at the entrance of the old town, which are 3 of the most
interesting sights in Valencia.
In the main entrance of the building, walls and floors are covered with natural materials such as wood and marble.
The staff (a big team) was very polite, helpful, sincerely concerned about our comfort and experience in their city, and with a "can do" attitude.
They offered us to keep our rented bike in the main sitting ro. tous commentaires »
We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed staying at this hostal, at first view on arrival it looks a bit edgy, but once inside and settled we realized why so many of the reviews were so positive! The rooms are small but clean and kept very tidy, lots of hot water, and comfortable beds. It's good value for the cost, simple accommodations, but suited our needs (and budget) well. It's amazing the place has been a hostal for over one hundred years! The location was good, with lots of re.
I have been there for only four nights, but it was enough to define this
hostel as a very good one. With only 140€ (we were a couple) we rent a
double for four nights booked only one week earlier, so very cheap for a
very good position (plaza del mercado). The personal was very kind and
friendly and I was astonished that every day they came to clean up my
room (with such low price I didn't even considered this
possibility).
The Hostal is situated in the very heart of the old town of Valencia. It was really close to anything you'd like to see. There's a near metro station at about 8-10 min from the hostal. And although the room and the shower were really small, it was comfortable and super clean. The staff was also really polite. Certainly, I'd recommend this place.
Location - you can take advantage of the marketplace nearby and streets with bars and nightlife. Comfortable beds. It is all you need for a short stay in the city center. Don't expect luxury, though. There is always staff at the reception, you can buy water there.
Very close to central market, restaurants, little shops and beautiful churches. Public transportation is very accessible. 24 hour reception with friendly staff. Room was small but comfortable. It was also very clean, which was important for me.
The hostal is less than 10 mins from the metro station which is very good. It's in the heart of town and you can go on foot wherever you want, either sight seeing or for a meal. The hostal is verrry clean.I'd recomend this hostal.
There are a lot of bars and restaurants in 3 min. on foot, but the hostel is in quiet neighborhood. Close to all centrally located attractions.
The staff was very helpful.
Room was cleaned every day.
It is a sweet but a bit old hostel near main market in city in a peaceful neighbourhood. I recommend the hostel for all who wants to stay in the centre of the city for low fee.
great little place in good part of town, all the basics done well, clean, comfortable enough, beds Ok, room had good space, friendly staff willing to help, i would return.
All is good. Excellent Location. Everywhere by walk, admirable market near by hotel, all square, sightings, restaurants, bus stops and many other things.
Clean rooms. Fully equiped with everything that you need (private! no sharing) and great prices for that quality! Definately recommendation!.
Location is great. Central Market is nearby, historical places are at a walking distance, room is cleaned every day, staff is very helpful.
The location was very good and the room was clean and complete with air conditioner and Wi-Fi internet connection. The staff was helping.
Location was easy to find and fairly central. Staff were friendly and room was clean. Good value for what you pay.
Location close to all amenities, cleanliness of all facilities .
The staff were very helpful and knowledgable.
location is just perfect
price is great
rooms are nice, clean and there is a shower
there is even a balcony.
It's in the city center, near the Central Market. Rooms are ok,
plain but comfortable.
Economical hostel near the city centre. Accommodations are clean with kind stuff.
Lovely location and very helpful staff, great budget hotel for exploring the City.
Locaton is great, the staff really friendly, the rooms are clean.
Clean, simple, good value and well located. Fine for short stay.
The staff are great, polite and helpful.
great location.
Very central location across from the Central market.
Location, and cleanliness.
Simple but adequate.
location.
Location.
Good location. Not too far from metro stop and great for old town.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Great location.
Very and Clean. Location was very good.
I did like the erea.
We got a bad first impression when reaching the entrance of the hotel
because the entrances surrounding it were covered in graffitis.
There were lots of building work going on in the area, which meant that our sleep was disturbed in the early morning (around 7), which is when the Spanish start their day.
Valencia is a very noisy city anyway, so I am not sure we can blame it on the hotel.
Rooms are quite small, we had to keep our belongings well organized!.
Nothing. It was really a satisfaction.
the shower was small.
the stairs - no lift.
No elevator, but staff very very helpful with the bags. I was not able to take advantage of bus transpo (very close by) because of confusing bus route information.
Not the best sound isolation. The shower is without curtains, consequently the bathroom is usually flooded.
some things can;t be changed like traffic noise and stairs but then it is a budget place and on balance it's very good.
Don't have towel for food. It is not so comfortable.
No English speaking people at the front desk but they still, friendly, try to conversate with the use of hands.
Window overlooking dark well-like yard, and you cannot open it, so you've got no natural light and never know what kind of weather is outside. It is extremely inconvenient. New construction is next to the hostel. Wi-fi works but not stable.
There was no elevator. The room was so small.
Exterior appearance presents an unfair first impression of lies behind - a clean great value for money hostel.
the AC was not working so well.
The staff was just ok, a little bit unfriendly. The tv was a computer
screen hanged on a wall.
The rooms are small, the walls of the rooms are thin and you can hear
all the neighbours.
Inward facing so little natural light.
Bed sheets and comforter were a little dirty.
The only fault was low water pressure on the shower but for the price of the room you cannot expect a power shower.
Thin walls between rooms.
Found bed very uncomfortable.
absence of elevator!.
Needed a bar.
Room was gloomy. A bedside light would have been useful.
Small rooms and a little bit noisy, but ok.
Can't say much because it was a budget hotel. The problem for me was that there was no lift the first floor where there is the reception.
1. If hotel could tell customer how to go to hotel, it would be better, such as take bus in which number.
2. If staff could speak English, it would be better.
But the hotel is very poor for service and facilities, imagine there is
no ffidge on the room, towels very small, tiny tv in the wall19 inch, five
metres away, you need zoom glaces to watch tv,wifi doesnt work on the
rooms,142 euros for 4 nights its rip off, when I asked the owner how much
is for one night?he said 30 euros,when I told him I been charged 40
euros,he said its not me.
