  The service was great and I was pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with terrace even though I had booked a fairly economic room just because they like upgrading their guests when the better rooms are free. Good location (on foot 7min from the Via Grande, 10 min from El Prado and 3 min from the Bus Station 'Bus Express' to the airport. Would definitly go back. Nespresso Machine in the breakfast room. Fingerprint reader to enter the appartment: no badge you could loose or misplace. Free WiFi!

Our room was spacious, the bathroom was also a good size and the bed was large and very comfortable. Best of all the room was quiet so it was possible to get a good nights sleep even in the middle of a noisy city.   The host and her daughter are really kind people; however, their English skills are limited. I felt like I was staying with family. There is WiFi included so that's a big plus. The hostel overlooks a street with a few clubs/bars so it can get noisy at night. Though I suggest ear plugs for any traveling since you never know how thin the walls might be. The hostel is ar - The host was really nice. Even though he can't speak English, he tried to explain everything and helped us to find some good place near by. The room was also quite large and comfortable for two people to stay.   It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why? 1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms. 2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. Attocha - on foot, to bus station to air - Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent. Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power. The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor
