The staff were great, just couldn't do enough for you and the hotel
itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

The hotel and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The room exceeded my expectation and would happily recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town. We really enjoyed our stay at Basse Provence. It is a beautiful house nestled amongst the vineyards and with a great view of the mountains. We had a fantastic stay at Basse Provence. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the winelands and the mountains and the accommodation itself was wonderful. Our room was spacious and under the thatched roof and the staff were very helpful. This was our favourite place to stay whilst we were in South Africa and we would thoroughly recommend it!

We loved the tranquility and the setting. It was a most relaxing time. Maryliese was fantastic she did all she could to help and make our stay comfortable. We loved her and thought she did so well under loads of pressure. She deserves a medal or a R2000 raise in pay.

I travelled with my 80-something mom-in-law and we loved every moment in the graceful surroundings. This hotel has been transformed by the current owners and it is outstanding value for money. -
