We really enjoyed our stay at Basse Provence. It is a beautiful house nestled amongst the vineyards and with a great view of the mountains. We felt very welcome there and the accomodation was clean and comfortable and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating and made sure we felt at home. We had a fantastic stay at Basse Provence. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the winelands and the mountains and the accommodation itself was wonderful. Our room was spacious and under the thatched roof and the staff were very helpful. This was our favourite place to stay whilst we were in South Africa and we would thoroughly recommend it!

the restaurant was fantastic and the rooms/grounds of the hotel were gorgeous. We were a little worried because we were in the smallest room in the place but it was a lovely room, so no complaints there - The quality of service and efficiency of all teh saftt, very impressive indeed !!!!

Private Villa with a beautiful view from the lounge as well as the bedroom. Huge comfortable bed and extremely spacious. The garden and surroundings are beautiful. No buffet breakfast as it was off peak but the choices given to us were great. Very quiet location in the mountains. -

It's a five minute walk up to all the restaurants and from where the wine tram departs, perfect. It is really small but with Real quality and attention to detail. The public areas and our room were beautiful. Small touches like a decanter of sherry in the room, plus exquisite puddings left in the room at turn-down really give the place an opulent

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located. The staff was friendly and always helpful. We enjoyed the stay so much that we booked two extra nights.The manager recommended restaurants, trips etc. We couldn't ask for a better stay and hospitality. We felt very spoiled and will definitely return.

Centre-Ville was an amazing place to stay and the unique Victorian look could be seen down to the smallest detail. Small lovely bed & breakfast just a street off the main shopping and restaurant street for this lovely quaint wine country town, surrounded by lovely mountains. Amazing Esna - the lady on the desk! She booked us in to some wonderful places to eat and was so smiling ,welcoming and helpful.
Also when we did have a slight problem- the safe wouldn't open just as we were going out to a booked dinner- we were offered money and transport to tide us over till the safe was fixed. Amazing. -

The location was perfect for us - in the town and in walking distance to shops and recommended restaurants. The room was lovely with an outlook onto the garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us suggestions on what we could do in our very limited time in Franshhoek ( we only stayed one night). Breakfast was great even tried hard to get

We were looked after by James and Pat who were both very friendly and
helpful. On arrival we were given an upgraded room which was very clean
and tidy with a very large bed! The house was very interesting with an
old colonial feel. It is in a secluded spot, very peaceful but within
easy walking distance to the town which is very beautiful. We only
stayed 1 night but could easily have stayed longer. We will be
recommending Maison Chablis to our friends and family.

Staff friendliness and willingness to assist in any way was outstanding. Breakfasts were varied and tailored to all of our needs. The privacy and space in our family suite was excellent with a child. It felt like a home away from home. The hosts willingness to assist and recommendations for day trips, restaurants, and spas was great!
