  Heather, the hostess, was helpful, friendly and informative. She described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when completed in about 2 mos time. They are redoing the pool at the same time. The recently remodeled room and bath we were in showed good taste... ce que les gens disent » and finish. The grounds not under construction were nice. Food was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely stay there again. - The staff and the owners were so lovely to deal with. Like other reviewers have said - it really was like staying with friends. Free internet, free airport pick up and drop off, free shuttle to areas locally (shopping center etc) We ate at the Guest House and like other reviewers - we thought the food was exceptional! We needed to be close to the airport so the location was perfect. The owners couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay

  Location (in relation to Airport), decor, the Aesthetics (it's a beautiful Hotel!) but ... Two things about the location: 1. It is less than a 10 min drive from Tambo. Great!!!, You can't beat that! 2. It's located in the 'ghetto'. The apt complexes were run down. People were on the streets, not homeless people just seemingly 'aimless' people. And it was - We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.
