  Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

  Blackheath Lodge provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere akin to being at home! It is pleasantly designed around a small, but extremely well cared for and pretty pool area. The lodge has a hire car available. The rooms are attractive and very clean. W - This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. The rooms were very comfortable with an excellent shower. Thank you to all the team that work there for making our stay so enjoyable!

We could not have been happier wioth our choice of hotel, and would stay there again should we visit.

  We booked a airport transfer through the guesthouse, who was there waiting for us when we landed. When we arrived at the guesthouse we had a warm welcomefrom a lovely lady who offered us breakfast as we arrived so early. We were able to check in straight away. He really went above and beyond his duties to make our stay as comfortable and e - The guest house is beautifully furnished and offers a great accommodation in easy reach of The Waterfront, Sea point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps bay. The staff are terrific and particularly Manie and Rayez who couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. The mattress was excellent - very comfy!! and what a great view of the sea from the verandah
