Everything. From the time we checked until we left we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and the food in the restaurant. The overall hotel premises are well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it.
When Hilton take over in April 2013, we hope that they will continue to keep up the high standards of the present management.

Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more
genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept
spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no
extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the

part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute

Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

Our room had extensive views of the sea. Sunsets in particular were to die for.
The location was ideal for us. A great walk along signal hill to the V & A via the noon day gun.
The facilities were outstanding in this boutique style hotel.

Rooms were spacious and very clean, with a modern design and finishes. Towels were soft and amenities were lovely. Wifi in the room was much needed. Private verandah was a wonderful feature too. Breakfast was very tasty and a great spread, with many choices.

I will not recommend this place because I hate the idea that it will atready be fully booked when I try to book it at my next visit to Cape Town. Stay away! The guesthouse owner is super nice and I was very happy to see the room was upgraded as well. My room is with a balcony facing the seas, fantastic view! Great food and location as well with a lot nice restaurants down the hill. I will definitely choose to stay here, if I come to Cape Town again. -
