Staff was so nice,attentive and helpful.
Check in and out was fast and easy, no waitings. No deposits at check in. Room (Mallorca) was very nice, cute and comfy. The hotel is a splendid old house in a very quiet area. Our room was very large and comfortable.
The buffet breakfast (included) was excellent as was the restaurant in the evenings.
However, the best feature of the hotel was the staff - friendly, helpful, and with fluent English. My wife found the bed a little too soft for her back - housekeeping quickly set up a mattress on the floor which solved the problem.
In short - highly recommended.

Apartment owner, Svetlana, was excellent with her emailing, cleaning and helping us find our way around St Petersburg, also her son, Paul, was very good when he greeted us when we arrived, showing us places to visit and how to get there. We felt quite safe and comfortable in the apartment, it was quiet and Svetlana was excellent.

It is an excellent boutique hotel in a very good location. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. We liked everything about this hotel. The front desk staff and especially Elmira and Antonina, were friendly and helpful. Actually, they could not have done more for us.our room was quiet and spacious, and befitting a Eco hotel. Breakfasts were very good indeed. A great central location, with easy walking distance to some of St Petersburg' s iconic touristic and historical sites. Food shops and cafés abound nearby.
