  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The vista from our room was excellent. Scrumptious and lovingly arranged breakfast with wholegrain bread and muesli options. - It was included a good and varied breakfast. Confort room with a wonderful Jostedalsbreen views.

  Location right by the fjord, station and ferry dock. Quality of the accommodation is excellent, though being a hostel, it is quite basic. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare yor own food, or eat stuff bought from the Greenway take-away trailer that is just by reception. Surrounding scenery is magnificent.   Location, staff - The hostel is currently closed for repairs due to bust pipes. The Info Desk at the train station directed us to the souveneir shop. The shop is run by the same people and a man kindly gave us a lift to the new accomodation in his van. The apartment had a great view from the loungeroom and was a fully equipped house. Great value for mone - The location is excellent, just 3 mins walk to railway station and port. Monica is very kind and try to pick up us at railway station even we drive by ourself. The hostel do not have so many rooms and we shared a three room apartment with an Italian family. The room for our family is too small but Ok for a one night stay. It is better to stay in bigger room if you have an older child, however the price is quite reasonable.   We had an excellent large room with two panoramic windows and fjord view. The location is very convenient- just few meters from the ferry terminal (but still silent!) and very close to Balestrand. The selection of food at breakfast might be wider, but it's typical for Norway, yet the quality was perfect. Very delicious fish at dinner. It is also a good base for lots of walks. We had the 3 course dinner at the hotels restaurant which was yummy but the best was the wonderful view while eating dinner.   Staying at Bjørgo Gard was definitely a unique experience that we would recommend to others. The initial drive up the mountain can be a bit intimidating at first because it is a steep and narrow road, but it is very well kept (paved from top to bottom) and offers several vantage points for spectacular views. When we reached Bjørgo Gar - The location is beautiful along one of the most amazing norwegian road. The owner and her little daughter speak perfect english (as everyone there) and they are really nice. The appartment is little, but clean and with all essential services.

  Beautiful main lodge with a lovely restaurant and wrap-around porch. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the small cabins with no bathroom and it was clean and warm with a kitchenette and sink. The setting was beautiful with the surrounding mountains. The price was excellent. - wonderful location between glacier... ce que les gens disent » s, waterfalls and a lake; jacuzzi outside was wonderful; the room was big, clean and with a view of the lake and the mountains; free parking; best wifi found in our trip around Norway. I recommend it and we will definitely return!!

  This was one of the highlights of our Trip around Norway. Relaxed hospitality as it should be. Excellent local produce, no choice and yet the meal was enjoyed by all 12 dinner guests. Hikers are encouraged to make their packed lunch from the breakfast buffet. Beautiful bright and clean rooms in a charming set of farm buildings. Fiords, waterfalls ... ce que les gens disent » and easy to find. What more could you ask. - The Gentleman that runs this hotel deserves a great deal of credit. The rooms are modern comfortable and well maintained. The food we had was delicious and well presented. We asked for advice on hiking routes and he was very enthusiastic and informative. Our stay at Nes Gard was one of the highlights of our holiday
