It was my wifes birthday and the entire hotel staff including housekeeping made her day extremely special, from suprising her at breakfast and decorating our room with balloons and cake.   My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable.
