  Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  Hotel was in an excellent location, really central but not noisy. We had a room with a terrace which overlooked the pool. It was really nice; it was a bit cool to use the pool but if you did it would be nice to retreat to your private terrace; might be noisy in the room though if the pool was busy; a minor concern though.The room also contained a ... ce que les gens disent » porch and settee area. The reception, cleaning staff, porter and breakfast attendants were all very good. There was a nice range of breakfast fare. - The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and nicely landscaped...we used the pool and it was fantastic, a nice place to get away from the crowds. (and trust me, there are massive crowds during the day when the cruise ships come to town....) Our room (212) was huge with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens. The hotel was in a good location, just a quick walk from the main piazza. Breakfast was good, lots of choices.

The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.
