  This is a family run business and have their guests interests at the top of the list at all times. Lovely old building but in excellent condition and very comfortable. The room was large (larger than normal) with a bigger than normal bathroom which is a real bonus in Italy. We have a first time was in Calabria,Tropea.This is very lovely,nice part of the Italy.Very clear sea,nice,sandy beaches.Friendly people.The Porto Ulisse we had a very good choise.Really nice,clean apartment.Very lovely garden!!The swimming pool and a jaccuzzi was a perfect.The owener was extremely friendly man!!!The view from the building ... ce que les gens disent » top was a amazing!!!!We are now very happy that we spent in this lovely place with a very nice week. Thank you very much Aldo everything!!! - We had a wonderful time at Porto Ulisse. The roof terrace is really beautiful with the swimming pool and jaccuzi. And the sea view and the hilly landscape make it complete. Aldo the owner, and his staff did everything to facilitate and were very helpful arranging trips etc. There is a lot to do in the area and you can walk in 5 minutes to the Parghelia beach in 15 minutes to Tropea. We just loved our stay and will definetely return to Porto Ulisse!

  Loved everything except the bathroom shower drain! Beach, pool and facilities were all beautiful. On-site diving site. Good spa services, including facial, massage and semi-permanent mani. Fantastic restaurant/pizzeria. I would definitely request a room but the beach/pool as opposed to on top of the hill, but it depends what you prefer. The gardens were beautifully maintained with pleasant paths to walk. The resort is ideal with families with young children.

  There are many places to choose from on Capo Vaticano (just south of Tropea). We're glad we stayed at this hotel. We had a fantastic sunset view of the Stromboli volcano from our balcony. Our apartment, while a little small with sloping ceilings on the edges, was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was very nice. Catering mostly to Germans, the hotel is family-frie - If you are looking for relaxing and tranquill place for holiday L'arcobaleno is beautiful small resort with panoramic views over the sea and Stromboli vulcano at sunset. Swimming pool area very well kept - very very relaxing:)). Beaches around very good. Staff service excellent. I would love to visit Capo Vaticano again:)))) and highly recommend this place:)))

  The popilia country resort was very relaxed and comfortable with friendly helpful staff and an excellent restaurant. The view from our hotel room was magnificent. The surrounding area had many picturesque towns to visit both inland and on the coast. The gelato in Pizzo and Tropea was superb. The road leading up to the Popilia Resort from the ss18 ... ce que les gens disent » was very hard to spot until we noticed there were amber flashing lights in both directions on the ss18 warning of a hidden junction which was the road - Everything, the chalet style rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The entrance to the resort was a wow factor and the views were spectacular. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer but tight schedule meant we could only stay one night
