When looking for a hotel in Tropea, I selected the hotel with as few as possible negative remarks. Beautiful building - other than Santa Maria dell'Isola, I think this was the nicest building in town. Lovely the way it is lit up at night. The breakfast was outstanding - offering all kinds of local foods I wanted to try (mozzarella di bufalo, black olives, sundried tomatoes in olive oil and many more), plus bread meat, cheese, variety of juices etc. all set in a lovely outdoor garden. Room was a bit small but decent.

The room was very nice! - It is obviously a brand new hotel and we enjoyed the freshness of the furnishings. The use of a kitchen is fantastic if you have been travelling for months.

Pellicano Guesthouse was a fantastic B&B, with the most amazing host. Lorenzo ensured that we had everything we needed and every second spent in Calabria was well spent. The facilities were modern, clean and very comfortable and we'd recommend this to anyone traveling to Calabria. We had a brilliant time. Thanks again Lorenzo!

Fully agree with previous positive comments about location, cleanliness, services etc. I would like to point out one more thing - great breakfasts. Good basic offer and several additional options changing every morning. Another important "pro" for those who stay for longer period.

Sicily with Etna, the Eolian islands, and Stromboli right in front from
our balcony! The appartment was simple, clean, everything we needed was
there. This is really in the countryside. Very quiet. There is not much
in the neighborhood (the nearby hotel somebody else mentioned was closed
