An established property with "soul". Less than perfect but with a homey atmosphere, very enjoyable altogether. Located in East Jerusalem, it gives you the feel for the "real" city away from politics and glitter. Lovely staff.

Near to the Old City and the rest of the City, good bus connections,
wonderful view to the Old city.
The room was spacy, so you could rest there comfortably between the sightseeing.
In the reception there was little information about the traffic connections and walking routes.

The location of this hotel is PERFECT. It is a short 10 minute walk to Ben Yehuda and Mamilla. The breakfast is amazing. There is live piano player making beautiful music as we ate on the patio. The staff all spoke perfect English and were very helpful. The room was clean and the bathrooms nice. The rook top has an amazing view of the city. The staff is all wonderful

Very nice breakfast with multiple variaties of fresh juices.
Very nice open and warmed swimming pool.
Only negative point is to not have a complimentary internet access in the rooms despite an effective wireless connection in the loby.

very pleased with very helpful staff who could answer all questions about where to eat and directions to places. Also facilitated arranging transportation to airport. Also very helpful in letting us store luggage after check out and before leaving for airport. Staff very friendly, room very comfortable and clean. We booked a standard room for 2 persons which smelled like cigar at arrival. With no problems we received a new slightly bigger room. The personnel is outstanding friendly and helpful (takes care of parking the car, bringing luggage to the room, serving generous drinks at the bar and any other questions or requests). The location of the hotel is in short walking distance to the old city. A taxi to the new city centre takes about 10 minutes.
