  The facilities are basic but it's good value - the lovely owner is well travelled and speaks great English. He was extremely kind to me and very keen to show off his city and I would not have had as good a time had I not stayed here thanks to him. I have heard reports of Western travellers having problems being turned away at other hotels which a... ce que les gens disent » re not keen to have business from foreign people, however, here it is the complete opposite and Fikri was very pleased to have me staying. - wonderfully friendly owner sharing local stories and helping with various travel-related matters. The city itself is humble but really amazing with friendly, hospitable people. Will visit again if I can.
