  The people here are so friendly and cooperative, they helped us a lot regarding the street conditions and our rental car while we needed to extend for one night as we weren't able to move on because of a storm and snow. It's a 20 minute drive by car to Akureyri, which is a very cosy place for eating and booking activities. The rooms are separated from the reception and common room. The kitchen and breakfast place are very big and you have a lot of space for yourself there. Breakfast was good and the lady there was from next door and was up for a chat.
