  Location was lovely, with views across to the nearby mountains and also down towards the sea at Hofn. Our room (a semi-detached log cabin) was very clean and tidy with a comfy bed and decent shower with plenty of hot water. Hotel does have a restaurant of their own which is - This place is exactly what you need when travelling Iceland - maybe after some youth hostel stays in Southern Iceland, a more comfortable option close to Hofn. Nice staff, clean, and comfortably located. Ideal especially if you want to go horseback riding. Free Wi-Fi worked well.

Her husband has some superb photos of the surrounding area (particularly Vatnajokull) on display around the house.
