  I've been to Chios and stayed in Topakas two weeks ago. As I've said, that was my first but absolutely not the last stay in there. So I did it again:) For me the motivation of going somewhere again and again is not only the places that you visit, the food that you eat or the place that you stay, it's also the people that you meet. Thanks again Eleni for - Staying in Topakas House was one of my best holiday experiences. We stayed 3 nights with my friend and 5,5 yrs old son. We felt like we were at home. The place was so cosy, the landlady Eleni and her husband Costas (please forgive if I misspell) were wonderful people, just as their son and daughter. They tried to help us in every way they could. The breakfast, the courtyard and the asmosphere were great. We left our hearts and minds in there. We'll really miss the late night chats in the courty

  This was the 4th place we stayed in during our 2 week visit to Chios. Frourio's was a great value in one of the quietest parts of Chios town yet only a few steps from the harbour and market.   Everything. Rooms and grounds were top notch. Area was very relaxing and my girlfriend and I really loved the owners. They were very nice and went above and beyond what I thought was expected of them. On the first night when my girlfriend and I got lost trying to find the place, they came and escorted us to the property. It was very pleasant and interesting to walk from the hotel along the tiny roads and alleyways. The buildings were historic, interesting and beautifully restored, and I appreciated the fact that the hotel has it own citrus fruit groves.
