We were also given free parking for the 2 days.

  The 6th generation, family owned hotel and restaurant, with a nice warm German country-side flair, in the heart of the scenic wine growing Rheinland, was just what we had hoped for. The owners, who we now call friends, were there for our every need and even gave us a private tour and tasting in their historic wine cellar. Gasthof Krancher is not... ce que les gens disent » a 5 star hotel and we were not expecting it to be, but it is perfect for people who don`t want to spend a small fortune and still be comfortable and - Although the hotel was slightly out of town we had read the trains could be a problem if staying in the centre. Having seen how frequently the trains ran at night we were pleased we opted for this hotel. Location was quiet and not too far to walk although all up hill on the way back. Staff friendly and helpful on advising us where to go. Breakfast included - overall good value and a comfortable stay.
