  Loved the location. A stone's throw from the River Rhein but really peaceful with virtually no through-traffic of either cars or people. Extremely central and so many choices of places to eat and drink. We found the best places when turning right out of the apartment and then left at the top of the road, rather than the extremely busy and noisier ... ce que les gens disent » main road along the Rhein. A very pleasant stay, nice breakfast and good rustic food. Rooms were quiet and dark at night. Our little daughter had her - Fine, family run "Winestube" serving good food and their own wines on a quiet street in a very touristy town. Excellent breakfast included.

  Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, our private room was clean, as was the public areas. Good area for amenities and walking, and only a couple of minutes walk to the town (village) centre.   My family and I were the only guests the night we stayed yet there was a large and delicious breakfast spread out for us the next day. We had a family room for three with 2 sinks and separate toilet and shower so there was plenty of room for all of us to get ready at the same time. The hotel is on a quiet side street but is close enough to walk to town (about 10 min to the Drosselgasse). Members of the family who ow - We really liked our innkeepers. They were super and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is great. The wood carvings in the breakfast room were very special as was the food. We didn't like the location at first because we had to walk up a large hill, but we found out later than the owners would have picked us up at the ship when we arrived. Note to selves: always ask the best way to get to a hotel.
