Our firm favourite in terrific scenery and with so many nearby places of interest. We'll be back ! - Everything. Very friendly, traditional family run accommodation. Best of all was the character of the hotel; it was very similar inside to the houses at the nearby museum. The location is excellent too with many facilities and a couple of towns in well-sign posted walking distance. Also, the family cooked very cheap meals which were very nice and the breakfast was excellent every morning. Amazing value for money.

  Hosts were just lovely, welcoming and full of willingness to help. It was nice to talk to them every morning! The farm itself gave a very homely feeling. the view from the rooms was like a picture or a dream. Breakfasts were rich and delicious (for European breakfast ..;)).   The Owner was extremely helpful and the breakfast was brilliant. Lots of local cheeses, breads topped off with a carved fruits. - The guest house has an excellent location and the owner was extremely helpful.

  Nous avons été agréablement surpris (après avoir lu certains commentaires négatifs) par la qualité de l'accueil, la disponibilité et les différents conseils de la propriétaire de l'hôtel. Nous avons apprécié la piscine, nous y étions souvent seuls, le buffet des petits déjeuners est varié et copieux, la chambre spacieuse pour 4, le pass donné pour... ce que les gens disent » essayer de multiples activités autour de l'hôtel a été bien utilisé. Bref nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et nous avons déjà recommandé cet - Superbe maison pleine de charme, piscine ouverte à toute heure, grande et très agréable. Chambres confortables et grands lits. Parking aisé. Le restaurant étant fermé, nous n'avons pas pu goûter à la cuisine. Heureusement, plusieurs restaurants aux alentours. Bonne adresse.

  Tout !! L'accueil est très chaleureux. Les chambres sont tres propres,la literie impeccable. Le repas est copieux (trèèèès copieux) et trèstrès bon pour un prix plus que raisonnable.   Loved the staff, room and breakfast. The parking was directly across from the room. We were given a passbook for each guest with discounts for major attractions. Unfortunately we ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. We will be going back to Hornberg and will stay here again. - Room was wide and very comfortable. However, the other restaurant, which the personnel recommended, was absolutely good. Honestly, the alternative restaurant could be even better than the one at the hotel!

  This was a surprise. It is a wonderful old grand hotel built on the site of a ruined castle, with mediaeval tower and dungeons still there. The room we had looked over the village, typical of the the Black Forest. It is a little out of town, and way up on a hill, but that gave lovely views. Ask the owner to show you what's under the hotel. - This hotel is in a lovely location with great surroundings with wonderful views. The staff are superbly trained and very friendly and helpful.
