Everything. Very friendly, traditional family run accommodation. Best of all was the character of the hotel; it was very similar inside to the houses at the nearby museum. The location is excellent too with many facilities and a couple of towns in well-sign posted walking distance. Also, the family cooked very cheap meals which were very nice and the breakfast was excellent every morning. Amazing value for money.

Hosts were just lovely, welcoming and full of willingness to help. It was nice to talk to them every morning!
The farm itself gave a very homely feeling. the view from the rooms was like a picture or a dream.
Breakfasts were rich and delicious (for European breakfast ..;)).
In addition, the price was very fair! -

Loved the staff, room and breakfast. The parking was directly across from the room. We were given a passbook for each guest with discounts for major attractions. Unfortunately we ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. We will be going back to Hornberg and will stay here again. -

This was a surprise. It is a wonderful old grand hotel built on the site of a ruined castle, with mediaeval tower and dungeons still there. The room we had looked over the village, typical of the the Black Forest. It is a little out of town, and way up on a hill, but that gave lovely views. They offer breakfast and dinner, both of which were great
