  The lady in charge is excellent and went out of her way to help, even after we left (my wife forgot her jacket which got locked inside on leaving at 03:00 am. She sent it by post. Relatively central location, within walking distance of most sites. Architecturally beautiful and quiet locality. The location is close to city center and main ports by walking. But the area is so queit and peaceful, which make us experience the local life. The host is sweet and patient always. We love here! - The apartment is gorgeous and spacious for one or two people. I loved having a washing machine as i was travelling for a few weeks. The area around felt very safe with some lovely local restaurants and services nearby. The publuc transpirt access was really handy as well.

  Everything was positive, from the hotel itself, to the amazing woman who manages it. She is just wonderful, helps you with questions. There is a bus stop just across the street and a SIWA on the next block. Best value of the hotels I stayed in, during my time in Finland. Will stay at Tapulitalo next time for sure.

  Excellent location at the dead center of the old town - the best possible for the touristy visit. Rooms are spacious and tidy, breakfast is great. - Recommend to stay for city center walking tours. Nice breakfast. Cosy and interesting hotel. A bit overpriced I would say.

  Hospitality by owner's family was great. Large room and bathroom. Beautiful setting with also finnish sauna, little bubblepool, garden, bright veranda and large common spaces for eating/talking/tv... - Staff was very friendly and the breakfest was very good. Rooms were quite nice, the sauna was excellent.

  This hotel lived up to previous rave reviews we had read. We had a very comfortable and spacious room with, unexpectedly, a king size bed. (Perhaps we'd been upgraded?)   Very good quality, well equipped apartments with great views in a central location. Terrace will be lovely in the summer months (we visited in November). Good walks, restaurants, shopping and most sites close-by.
