  Excellent service and very friendly staff. The room was good and clean. Breakfast on the balcony was leisurely and good value. It arrived at the pre requested time. The bed was comfy, towels clean, dressing gowns and slippers provided and all facilities were as described. The b and b is only a short walk to the main attractions. The breakfast was brought to the room. It was yogurt, fresh fruit, and an assortment of breads. Lovely presentation and enough to save some for later. The house is away from the circus atmosphere that is on the hill near the falls which we loved. Also, we arrived quite early and we were able to park our car and walk to the falls until time to check in. It was a very nice location.

  We caught the Viarail from Toronto to Niagara Falls and walked to Chestnut Inn. It was a reasonable walk that took about 10 to 15 minutes. I had emailed in advance to arrange to leave our luggage early. This was no problem and we were welcomed upon arrival and offered a cup of coffee. The room has a large king bed an ensuite wi - my new husband is a tour guide in niagara falls and we have always loved this b&b, so naturally we picked it for our honeymoon. he always points the chestnut inn out to his tour clients and will now do so with personal knowledge of how beautiful it is. we were thoroughly satisfied and want to go back for our first anniversary, even though we live locally. it was like going to another period in time and we loved it.

Tom was very knowledgeable about the area and gave me excellent directions to my destinations, as well as recommendations. The most comfortable bed we had slept in over all 3 weeks of our holiday. A "proper" breakfast at last - on our last day in Canada! An oasis of tranquillity compared to "Vegas-on-the-Falls" down the road. Also nice to meet other guests and chat.
