The owners are charming. Responded quickly to questions we emailed before we arrived. Room super clean, quiet, safe. Comfortable beds. Free Internet. I loved being in a historical building and yet all modern amenities were at my fingertips I liked having a valet because parking was an issue and understandably so in such a rich historical city. .Most importantly, the hostess unexpectedly, upgraded our room to the loft and I thought I was in heaven. I have never stayed in such a luxurious suite. I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning. Merci bien!

The bathroom has an excellent spa shower with 6 spray heads. The water
pressure and temperature was very good. Also the bathroom was very
clean. The comfortable bed gave us 2 good nights sleep. The hotel is
very historical so there was no elevator. We climbed about 15 steps with
our suitcases to get to the check-in desk, They provided a place to
secure our luggage until our room was ready which was ready before the
time as promised. The restaurants breakfast and service was delicious.

Location, location, location.... In the heart of Quebec. We stayed in the recently remodeled room 36 on the 3rd floor. Small, but cozy and quiet. Steps were no problem. A/C is quiet. We took their package deal for one day only. It included 2 breakfasts and dinners with a bottle of wine @ Restaurant 1640 downstairs and 1 day paid parking. What a great deal! Food is delicious and service is outstanding. Information center is next door.
We definitely will stay there on our next trip.

This is a delightful place right in the heart of Vieux-Quebec. My room
was quite small but comfortable, with plenty of storage space. You need
to be able to deal with stairs, but the staff are very obliging helping
with luggage. Free coffee is available at breakfast time, and there is a
discount arrangement for breakfast in a nearby cafe. I found it an
excellent base for a few days' stay.
