Front desk staff very friendly. Best water slide slide ever. The pool and water slide are in a different building so you had to go outside to get to it.
Continental breakfast included a waffle maker that was really good. Th hey also had hard boiled eggs but th hey didn't want you to heat them up in microwave but I did for a few seconds. -

there was concern when we got there about another tenants room which we overheard so we asked to see our room first. and when we opened the door- it was roomy and clean. for that price- it was perfect. 2 pools(small) fridge and microwave supplied. first rate for , again money paid. -

The owners Gerald and Abbie live in the hostel and take extra care to keep a high standard of comfort, care and extra service. I prefer them over anything more ritzy but where the owner is never on site so you are neglected or just a number.

We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada.
