Brandy, the owner, is a superb hostess - nothing was too much trouble. She was friendly, chatty, helpful. The room was lovely with a balcony with a view to die for over the Purcell mountains and the bed was very comfortable and small details were thought about and catered for.

This charming place is absolutely amazing. The location is perfect, a quiet corner in the amazing Rockies.
The house and the room are brand new, very, very, very clean and tastefully decorated. Paul and Kat work hard to refresh the rooms every morning!
The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were great and the hosts, Paul and Kat, are wonderful.
Through their suggestions and tips we went to amazing places in the area and very good restaurant.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night when travelling through to Banff. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. The living space was nice although we weren't there long enough to make the most of it. We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Very comfortable with a cosy home like feel. If you are travelling with a baby this is the place for you. After being on the road for a while with a 7 month old it was such a pleasant change to arrive and find we had everything we needed, from high chair to toys. Our bed was also amazingly comfortable. -

The owners Gerald and Abbie live in the hostel and take extra care to keep a high standard of comfort, care and extra service. I prefer them over anything more ritzy but where the owner is never on site so you are neglected or just a number.
