First impressions are always good ,I felt that as I entered reception, staff very helpful, dress code gave me a more relaxed casual impression which was good, rooms were just lovely,very modern,spacious & clean. pillows & mattress are always a priority, (couldn't have been better)I even checked the brand name, for further purchase.Would certainly stay again when next in the city

My husband and I have stayed in the Hunter Valley at least 6 times in the last couple of years. I can honestly say Berenbell was best by far. The extra little touches like the homemade muffins, fruit bowl etc made you feel welcome. The owners were warm and friendly and available when needed. The view was breathtaking! Would stay there again, absolutely!!!

ALL the staff were lovely especially Julie the room attendant lady she was kind and friendly but .... when a extra bed was need nothing was to much trouble for her not only did she made up the spare bed to perfection but she also remember a extra set of towels . Cache u really have lovely staff you should be proud. . -

The view from the room was fabulous - trees and greenery. Also the room was good, and opened onto a shared TV room and kitchen - excellent design.
Also closeness to shops and Uni, as well as extra pillows and duvet were great. -

I liked that we booked online en route and the hotel rang to ask what time we would be arriving and the staff member on reception waited for us to get there. -

We stayed in Oct 2013 and for our family of 5 found the Ocean Park Motel to be a very nice place, close to the beach and near a well priced restaurant, nice little lounge area, full kitchen and good bathroom, bedrooms were pretty good. It had a homey feel about it with a Siamese fighting fish in a bowl. Good value for the time we were there. -

This was a stunning and pleasant surprise for a last minute booking. Rob and his wife were worldly yet extremely gracious - there was not a hint of burnout (standard with homeowner hosts) or any sense that my requests/questions or presence were burdensome or tiring. It was very close to the beach and the free public transport, which were buses and only a short walk to the centre of the city. It was very easy to get around, the weather was perfect and the motel was very easy to find, plenty of signage to tell you where to go. the rooms were a good size and comfortable. -

It was exceptionally clean, an amazing layout with ample space. The facilities were great, a real treat. Much better than being cooped up in a hotel room. Within walking distance from everything but being far enough out to enjoy the peace and tranquility. Will definately recommend to other and would love to come back. It was also at a reasonable price.

Parking at the door, air conditioning, hot water, satellite TV, daily room cleaning, quiet during our stay (Tuesday - Friday), comfortable even if the room was small, close to shops, good value for money. -

On arrival, the receptionist was very helpful, explained fully all facilities of hotel. Also helped me to locate places I needed to get to so as to meet up with friends . Pity I didn't get chance to sample the menu, food looked great and very reasonably priced.

Staff where very friendly, got fresh milk for drink's with coffee making facilities. Toiletries supplied. It was clean and bed's were comfortable. Car parking right in front of rooms. Not many places have beding for 2 adults and 3 kids. -
