Staff were extra helpful and friendly. The room was large and well designed. The best features included the bathroom with its own spa bath and the large balcony overlooking the golf course which was stunning. Being a smoker, the ashtray on the balcony table was much appreciated and made the morning coffees more enjoyable.

  Large, clean room; beautiful surroundings both inside and outside the hotel; very good staff; good breakfast. The hotel provides excellent value for money. In fact, we booked out of the Hunter Valley Resort (Resort? What a joke!) despite having paid for the night and checked in here. It was also nice to see more guests there than at any previous visit. As we travel up Sunday and return Wed is was real value for money. The grounds are now looking in great condition.

  We visited the Hunter Valley for a concert on the green. The location was perfect and also allowed easy access to other wineries. Our room was upgraded on the Sunday at no extra cost. Hotel was very clean and facilities made for a relaxing weekend. Staff were very helpful - We loved the rooms, the pool and the gardens.   The complex was great. Thought it may be getting a bit old and tired, but was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed our stay. - Excellent environment for our European guests. They saw kangaroos and beautiful scenery in wine country
