  A bright roomy hotel in a perfect location for exploring inner-city Darwin & its attractions. From the moment we entered Doubletree we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, our room was lovely [probably spoilt us for all hotels and motels in the future], and our week-long stay filled with nothing but positives. - Great location.   Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a cot for my 6 month old daughter upon booking the room and it wast forgotten about (most hotels forget this). Valet parking was excellent and staff were available and helpful when i needed an extra hand to put pram and baby in the car. Very comfortable and felt welcome.   It was in a good position and easy to get to places we wanted to see.Our first time to Darwin and we loved it. The only drawback is that the accommodation is too expensive. - We found the staff very friendly & helpful and the facilities nice and clean. We also found the location very good for eating & viewing attractions around town

  We had 2 days in a unit with an excellent view of Stokes Hill wharf, and 1 day in a 'city view' room, which was significantly smaller, but still very acceptable. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, but there was a lot of facilities (tourism, eating) nearby. - The rooms were large and very clean.
