After a long day driving, arriving at quality Powerhouse Armidale was a
welcome surprise. The rooms were very luxurious and the Tapas Bar for
dinner and drinks, not to mention the Morrocan inspired decor was
sublime. Best hotel by far and we would know as we stayed at 6 different
establishments on our way to and from the Gold Coast. -

The room had 12 power outlets! 12! and 4 of them were either side of the bed.
The Air con was new and worked brilliantly.
The room was ver spacious which was great when it is raining and you have kids.
There are deer which were just a lovely touch for the kids.
There is a heated pool and spa which were very well kept.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. Location was great we could walk to shops & food venues. Driving to national parks & water-falls was an easy & close drive. -

A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.

We, a married couple both about 65 and our 12 year old granddaughter, stayed in a room in this motel for one night in early June 2013.
The room was well-appointed and very clean, the beds were comfortable and everything worked well. The staff were always helpful even when I had neglected to make arrangements for a late check in. -

Greeting upon arrival and effort to go out of their way for you was very nice. Great shower and comfy bed in a quiet street. Short walk to CBD. 'An Indian affair' is the best Inidan food anywhere we have travelled..and we have travelled a LOT. -

The room was HUGE.

The pub down the street had a great pulled-pork-on-a-bun! -
Location for us was perfect as we needed to go to NEGS.
Loved the microwave..not for cooking but for heat packs...needed for arthritis!!!!
