  A friend of 40 years and I got together for a two-night get-away to catch up and relax. We were both very pleased with our stay. The location of your hotel was great - equidistant from our homes, near hightways, and near Mystic.   Everything! This has to be one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was clean, the staff was very helpful, and it looked like it was brand new. But it wasn't. I asked for a non-smoking first floor room and that is exactly what I got. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom's faucets and shower faucets were all rusted and dirty looking like cleaning solution was placed on them but they were never cleaned.   I liked the coziness of the Inn. The room was very nice and my window overlooked the Main Street which was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. - Location ideal for an academic visit to Wesleyan. Good access to downtown shops and restaurants. Dining room remained open past 10 pm, which was a big help.

The rooms while extremely basic, and more like a well designed motel than a resort still had the finest textiles. Thick towels and pillow top beds with high count sheets.
