  First of all, the location is perfect! We were able to park at the French Market a block away for $20/day. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and you could really tell he wanted us to enjoy our stay. We will definitely try to stay here when we return! - The property is an eclectic mix of old and new but with modern kitchens & comfortable furnishings. The staff were wonderful & gave great suggestions for dinner. The location is fantastic (in the "no bus zone" of the Quarter, so it's much less noisy than the other end). Also just steps from all types of shopping and dining. I will definitely stay here again!

  My fiancé and I stayed here for two nights. The location is brilliant and the receptionist that greeted us (forget her name but lots of tattoos) was lovely, very helpful and kind. If only all receptionists were like her! The location is superb, very quiet spot and away from the madness of Bourbon street and Canal stre - Walking distance to Bourbon street but far enough away to not hear noise. Close to the French Market. Room was nice, great king sized bed. Courtyard was perfect for my husband to hang out and use his ipad and be able to smoke. We will definitely stay here again! Great location!!

Rooms are just packed with amazing antique furniture and otherinterior pieces. Bathroom is all modern, though,no worries)) and there are Frette bathrobes and linen, mmmm. Last but not least, the staff are all great. - The Soniat House was exactly what I was looking for. It was a wonderful experience and would stay there again. Plus the hot biscuits and jam were amazing.

The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street. - Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money.

  Location could not have been better. Quiet safe street, just a few blocks from everything there is to see in FQ New Orleans. Character of the building made you "feel" like you were in NOLA.   I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Th - Staff was excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location in a quieter section of the French Quarter (but still close to all the action). The room and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable and looked recently renovated. We were very pleased with our whole experience.
