  I stayed out running around the city all day so I didn't need a fancy hotel to accommodate me. All I needed was a bed and a shower, both of which were clean and provided to me at a great cost by the hostel. Great experience overall, would recommend to anyone traveling alone. - This is my second stay at this hostel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's located in a great location (about 10 min walk from Willis Tower and 3 min walk from a CTA blue line station). The room was clean and tidy, bathrooms clean and showers HOT.

  The location to downtown Chicago, for a fraction of the cost of other hotels, is what interested me the most about the Chinatown Hotel. Tons of restaurants in the area, and the front desk clerk even recommended a couple favorites. There is a parking garage - This is the most budget-conscious lodging you can get in Chicago without going the hostel-with-shared-bathroom route. The staff was great-- our reservation was lost (which happens often when I book through 3d party websites--I should have learned my lesson) so we had to stay in a different room each night, but one of those nights was upgraded t
