  Alex at the desk couldn't have been more accomodating. He went above and beyond. He loaned us umbrellas as well as helping us find an address of my son who wasn't even staying at the hotel.   I was attending a conference at NYU. The hotel is right at the heart of NYU and so was a convenient location for me. The beautiful Washington Square Park is just steps away from the hotel. I like that the hotel is situated in a safer and quieter part of the city, yet within easy reach of the attractions in the city.
