Very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, the best we've had in an English B&B!! Freshly cooked to order and hot! Our room (No 4) was huge and very clean and comfortable, in fact the hotel place was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend The Cordelia to everyone. Fantastic breakfast which was cooked to order as given a menu sheet to choose options the night before. Informative folder in the room full of useful information about the local area such as directions, things to do and restaurants etc. Well stocked tea tray in room and owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Very friendly proprietor, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. The area where the hotel is situated is easily within walking distance into Scarbrough town centre or seaside but is in a quieter part which means that you can sleep peacefully. I would definitely recommend this hotel

I liked the location as it was near the beach, sea and beautiful gardens. It was free of the noise and bustle of the north side of Scarborough. The breakfast was very nice. I noticed they used quality bacon because it wasn't full of salt, the room was as one would ave expected for the price - big, nicely deorated an clean.

The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. older seaside hotels, the bedroom was very comfortable and the public
rooms most attractive. The bathroom was a decent size and well equipped.
Breakfast was excellent: buffet breakfasts certainly have their
advantages, but it was a pleasant change to be served by attentive staff
from a generous menu with a great view of the South Bay.
