  Our room was large with everything we needed, including a balcony overlooking the channel. The bathroom was also large with a very powerful shower. The staff on reception couldn't have been more helpful.   I could not fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. The food was great - order Inadian and you will not be disappointed. Excellent value for money, ten out of ten ! - we only stayed one night, but that was enough to know that we would stay again. Maybe for longer next time.

  The room was very good: I think we were possibly upgraded to a family room, as the hotel was quiet. It was very roomy with a seating area with settee which we appreciated - sometimes hotel rooms only have 1 chair.   It is, by a long way, the loveliest place I've ever stayed; beats every five star hotel I've stayed in, in every country, and every US State. It had the most comfortable bed you can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in an English B&B, everything fresh and local and of excellent quality.

  a real place with pleasant staff not like these corporate brands - We liked staff, we felt welcomed. Very nice and quiet place. We had a very good sleep and rest.
