  Despite poor weather that put paid to our weekend golfing break, we still had a great time in Torquay. Janet and Andrew both made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us.   Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help.   The accommodation was very pleasant in the cottage room but i felt it wasn't very private, i also thought we had booked accommodation in the actual hotel and as i am waiting for a knee replacement the steps were difficult.
