The couple who run the guest house, Yana and Ian, are lovely, very
welcoming and accomodating. The guest house is well kept, clean and the
breakfast is good quality. They also, when we stayed, offered little
'extras' in the mornings I.E. as it was over Easter home made
hot-cross buns and little chocolate gifts were avaliable on the
breakfast table. Home made cakes were also left in our room for our
return on some days and tea and coffee etc was kept well stocked. We

A most charming inn set in a beautiful location overlooking Skiddaw. The staff were exceptionally friendly and as for the food - what can we say but 5 Star with emphasis on top quality local produce cooked with flair and presented with style. Rather than catch a bus he offered to drop us off on his way. I don't think this sort of service would come from a 5 star international hotel.

Loved the service. As there was a mixup with the booking the people at the guest house simply adjusted it to match our needs. Loved that staff was firendly and made us welcome. They even kept pur belongings safe the next day, after check out while we were in town. Really nice breakfast as well. Would love to go back if in the area. Good value for money.

I enjoyed my stay very much and the staff were friendly, although the room was small (single) it was clean and comfortable. The meal was lovely alot of food on the platealong with a nice friendly atmosphere in the bar. - i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and its good value for the money. I recommond it very much.
