We chose this B&B based on the high rate provided by letsbookhotel.com's users. I believe that everything happens for a reason and choosing this B&B couldn't have made me happier. Yana and Ian are two of the loveliest people I have ever known and provided an excellent service at all times. We were very happy with the room as it had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was really good and a big variety of choices was always provided. I don't eat meat and Yana and Ian made sure th.
kaikki arvostelut » The couple who run the guest house, Yana and Ian, are lovely, very welcoming and accomodating. The guest house is well kept, clean and the breakfast is good quality. They also, when we stayed, offered little 'extras' in the mornings I.E. as it was over Easter home made hot-cross buns and little chocolate gifts were avaliable on the breakfast table. Home made cakes were also left in our room for our return on some days and tea and coffee etc was kept well stocked. We would recommend this guest h. This B&B is just lovely. Yana and Ian welcomed us and from the very beginng we felt like home. We stayed 5 nights and must say, that Windermere is ideal place to discover Lake District. We travelled all around this lovely area like Carlisle and Maryport which can be reached in few hours. We recommend that you borrow Ian`s Maps and take a walk to surrounded hills. We will absolutely visit Hollywood guest house again. Very comfortable bed, excellent choice of food at breakfast, Ian and Yana are very knowledgeable of local area and suggested lake walks for us to do and restaurants to visit that were all great, fresh milk available for hot drink in room, sweets and mints in hallway for you, very clean, nice hot power shower in room. We will be back. we liked how they added their own touches like the do not sign was a teddy sheep. home made jams & marmalades for breakfast, home made cakes on the hospitality tray in the room. However, I felt that the room was a little bit too cold although both radiators were really hot. On the last day we were the only costumers and I realised that the room got warmer probably because the other radiators in the empty rooms were switched off. In their defence I must say that it was really cold outside when we went. The room we were allocated was small, but there was an ample sized shower- room as on-suite which was clean and the shower of good quality. no dislikes. Nothing!. Nothing to dislike!!. Nothing. It was all excellent. No free WiFi in the rooms. Driving the long road home !!!!. nothing not to like. The room was a little cramped, with no outside view, as we were up on the top floor. Nothing to not like. Nothing.Nothing negative. nothing at all. a bit far away from the railway station. If anything, it's a bit a a walk from the lake front, but no big deal. Nothing. The carpets could do with a deep clean as they are looking a bit worn and dirty, although with so many guests coming in and out it is understandable. TV in the upstairs room loses signal when the shower or a tap is on, which was strange I just couldn't work out the problem. we got the last room, top floor bedroom a little on the small side. Nothing at all. Nothing. Nothing really. Could have had fresh fruit on at breakfast. nothing. room a bit small. Nothing. Wifi hit and miss. Quilt too heavy. The towels are very small!. For the internet usage, we were only allowing check emails. Not enough privet car park space, we have to park our car on the road.
