  This hotel was very comfortable (room was a little bit dated though) and we liked being able to use the swimming pool and sauna. The location is great, as it feels like your in the countryside but your only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Cambridge.   The food was very good and the restaurant staff extremely personable I stay in hotels frequently and I can honestly say that your staff were without exception the most polite, helpful and cheerful that I have come across. We visited the cathedral and enjoyed the bar at the hotel. Hotel is in a great location and as the building was a former period university building all the rooms will all have slight variation in layout and views! For the tall....   Room was fairly large, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and arrived quickly, cheap drinks at the bar. Location is central to St. Ives.   I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the room. The owner was very nice and the decor was lovely. It is easy access to a bus route which runs to either the tube or Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2,3 and 4. Recommend that information for Terminal 5 be added to directions to and from Heathrow.
